Hello there,
I have started taking pictures in 2011 thanks to the mentorship of a cool photojournalist, Alexandre Minguez. Before that, I have been an unconditional fan of the International Photojournalism Festival Visa pour l’image which takes place every year in Perpignan, my hometown. Needless to say, I have been deeply influenced by this!
In 2012, I have worked as a part-time photojournalist for a local media in Perpignan, Cat’info Media. I have covered mostly political meetings for the French presidential campaign. I also produced various illustrative pictures for the printed and digital versions of the newspaper.
After moving to study for my master’s degree, I worked part-time as a journalist and photographer for the University of Montpellier from 2012 to 2014. My role was mostly to cover events organized by students – but I also did a lot of illustrative pictures for the communication department. Some of them have been reused by L’Etudiant.fr which is one of the most important media outlets in France on the topics related to Higher Education.
After two years of dedicated service, I moved to Paris for my Ph.D. but kept strong ties with the University of Montpellier and covered several Alumni’s events. During my time in Paris, I participated in the visual communication of Jeune et Bénévole, a non-profit association that connects young volunteers and local charities.
I have spent two years in Munich where I worked as a researcher for the Ludwig-Maximilians University (LMU). I have taken pictures of formal and informal events organized by my department.
I now live in Rennes.
Thanks for reading. I hope you’ll spend a nice time here.
